Do cycle shelters need planning permission?

Often not, as most cycle shelters fall under permitted development, but this depends on the site, its size and location. Listed buildings, conservation areas and larger structures are more likely to need consent. Check with your local planning authority before ordering, and ask us if you'd like drawings to support an application.

Are cycle shelters supplied self-assembly or installed?

Both options are available. Shelters can be delivered as a self-assembly kit with fixings and instructions for your own contractor, or we can arrange installation.
