Broughton Shopping Trolley Shelter: Holds 36 Trolleys

The Broughton is a covered trolley shelter (also called a trolley bay or trolley park) for supermarket and retail car parks. It gives customers a clear, convenient place to return trolleys, keeps them out of parking spaces and away from cars, and keeps your car park tidy. It has a rust-free anodised aluminium frame and a clear curved PETG roof, and it fits into a standard car parking space.

Do I need a roll back strip?

If the open end of the shelter faces down a slope, yes, a trolley retaining strip must be fitted. Otherwise trolleys can roll back out of the shelter into parked or moving cars. On a flat car park it's optional, but it's a cheap way to add extra safety.

Why fit a trolley shelter?

Abandoned trolleys take up parking spaces, block traffic and cause dents and scratches to customers' cars. A clearly signed, covered shelter close to the parking spaces makes it easy for customers to do the right thing. It also cuts down the time your staff spend collecting trolleys from around the car park, and keeps trolleys dry for the next customer.

Can I join more than one together?

Yes. Broughton shelters can be installed end to end or side by side to hold more trolleys, or to create a covered walkway between your car park and store entrance.

How is it installed?

Full assembly instructions are supplied. The feet are levelled and then bolted down with threaded rod set in chemical resin. If you'd rather not fit it yourself, choose the installation option and we'll do it for you.
