The mGate® barriers are the most modern and innovative of their kind. The intelligent control electronics enable reliable operation at all times and allow you to specially adapt the product to your needs. The improved design, new functions and diverse barrier options expand the application range for checkouts etc.

Reducing Theft

The mGate® directs customer flow exclusively through staffed checkouts when lanes are closed, with integrated alarm systems that instantly notify staff of any unauthorised passage attempts.

Opening up escape routes

During emergencies, the system automatically unlocks the checkout area to create a clear escape route, then self-resets to operational status without manual intervention once the alert is cleared.

Design

The mGate® automatic swing gate is available in two installation configurations to suit your facility layout. Choose floor-mounted base with integrated plate and cover for standalone deployment, or wall/desk-mounted flange assembly for integrated checkout installations. Both variants feature premium chrome or powder-coated casing, energy-efficient braking technology that reduces operational costs, and dual-sided panic alarm and release functions for comprehensive emergency access. Standard compatibility with Wanzl Classic customer guidance systems allows seamless integration into existing queue management infrastructure. The robust construction and fail-safe mechanisms ensure reliable performance in high-traffic retail and public access environments.

Barrier arm options include steel tube designs with white or transparent plastic signage—choose dual "no entry" symbols or directional arrow with reverse "no entry" marking.
